Job Description

MARS Training \& Solution is looking for an experienced Microsoft Project (MS Project) faculty/trainer to conduct practical, industry-orientated training for learners and working professionals.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in Microsoft Project and should be able to independently deliver training on project planning, scheduling, resource management, tracking and reporting using MS Project.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on Microsoft Project / MS Project
• Teach practical project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project
• Create and manage project plans, tasks, milestones and dependencies
• Explain project calendars, working time and task scheduling
• Demonstrate resource allocation and resource management
• Teach project baseline, tracking and progress monitoring
• Explain critical path, task constraints and deadlines
• Demonstrate project cost and resource-related reports
• Teach project tracking, variance analysis and project updates
• Explain Gantt Chart and other MS Project views
• Conduct practical exercises and project-based assignments
• Handle learner queries and provide hands-on guidance
• Deliver sessions in both Online and Offline mode

Required Skills – MUST HAVE

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Project
• Practical knowledge of MS Project / Microsoft Project
• Experience in project planning and scheduling using MS Project
• Knowledge of tasks, milestones, dependencies and constraints
• Resource management and resource allocation
• Baseline and project tracking
• Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Gantt Chart
• Project calendars and scheduling
• Progress tracking and variance analysis
• MS Project reports and project views

Preferred Background

Candidates may have experience as

Microsoft Project Trainer \| MS Project Trainer \| Microsoft Project Faculty \| MS Project Consultant \| Project Planning Professional \| Project Scheduler \| Project Management Trainer

Previous experience in Microsoft Project training / corporate training / professional training will be preferred.

Important – Please Read

This requirement is specifically for Microsoft Project (MS Project).

❌ MS Office / MS Excel / MS Word / MS PowerPoint-only profiles are NOT suitable.

❌ Candidates with only general Project Management experience but without hands-on Microsoft Project experience will not be considered.

Candidates must have actual practical experience using Microsoft Project and should be comfortable demonstrating the software during training.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Microsoft Project experience
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain MS Project concepts practically
• Comfortable conducting Online and Offline training
• Experience handling learners / working professionals will be an advantage
