Tool Fabrication \& Reconditioning

• Carbide Boring \& Undercut Bars: Precision grind carbide shank tools to exact profiles, rake angles, clearance angles, and tip radii.
• HSS Parting Tools: Grind square-shank High-Speed Steel (HSS) parting/grooving tools with correct back rake, side clearance, and front relief.
• Drills \& Form Drills: Fabricate and sharpen standard twist drills and custom step/form drills to customer or internal drawing dimensions.
• Reamers: Grind outer diameter (OD) relief, lead chamfers, and flute geometry on expansion and solid reamers.
• End Mills: Perform end-face re-sharpening, OD grinding, radial/axial clearance setup, and edge prep on multi-flute carbide and HSS end mills.

Qualifications \& Requirements

Education

High school diploma, ITI/Tool \& Die Making, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: 2–5+ years of experience operating universal tool and cutter grinding machines (specifically experience with manual/semi-automatic universal grinders like SIGMA UTC 280 or SIGT SG4 preferred).
