Job Description

We are looking for well-trained and experienced Heavy Lorry Drivers to operate our 14-wheel and 16-wheel trucks for transportation of rice, paddy, and other goods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 14-wheel and 16-wheel heavy lorries.
• Transport rice, paddy, and other loads between different locations.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Ensure the vehicle and load are handled safely during every trip.
• Check basic vehicle condition before starting each trip.
• Report vehicle issues, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Follow all traffic rules and company safety procedures.
• Maintain proper trip and delivery records.
• Handle loading/unloading coordination responsibly.

Requirements

• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV/Heavy Transport) Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Must be a well-trained and experienced heavy vehicle driver.
• Experience driving 14-wheel or 16-wheel lorries preferred.
• Good knowledge of Tamil Nadu roads and routes preferred.
• Must have a responsible and safety-conscious approach to driving.
• Must be willing to travel for long-distance trips when required.
• Should maintain the vehicle properly and follow company instructions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience transporting rice, paddy, food grains, or other bulk goods is an advantage.
• Experience with long-distance transportation is preferred.
