Verification Officer

• • Document \& Data Analysis: Review and audit digital or physical documents such as government IDs, utility bills, business permits, and Know Your Customer (KYC) records for signs of tampering or forgery. • Background \& Credential Checks: Cross-check academic certificates, employment histories, and criminal records by communicating directly with universities, regulatory bodies, and previous employers. • Field Verification (If applicable): Conduct physical site visits to residential addresses or merchant business locations to confirm their existence, operation, and authenticity. • Risk \& Fraud Mitigation: Identify data mismatches, irregularities, or suspicious patterns and escalate high-risk profiles to compliance or risk management leaders. • Reporting \& Auditing: Prepare comprehensive verification reports detailing findings, validation success rates, exceptions, and narrative observations for internal decision-makers. • Database \& CRM Management: Maintain meticulous, encrypted archives of verified data, communications, and outcomes in line with local data privacy laws.
