Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, GST-related work, financial records, and payment transactions. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
• Handle sales invoices, purchase invoices, and expense bills.
• Prepare and verify GST invoices and reconcile GST records.
• Assist with GST returns, TDS calculations, and statutory compliance.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Track customer payments, vendor payments, and outstanding balances.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank records.
• Maintain purchase orders, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and expense statements.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and invoicing.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Eligibility

• B.Com, M.Com, or a relevant accounting qualification.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Freshers with good accounting knowledge may apply.
• Candidates available to join immediately will be preferred.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
