Job Summary

Optorium is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, reconciliations, and supporting the accounts team with regular reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
• Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliation regularly.
• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Maintain branch-wise sales and expense records.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with branches regarding billing, collections, expenses, and accounting discrepancies.
• Track outstanding payments and receivables.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Identify and report accounting discrepancies to the senior accounts team.
• Support audits and provide required documents when needed.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, or Accounting/Finance-related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Retail or multi-branch accounting experience will be an added advantage.
