Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-friendly Cashier to handle billing, cash transactions, POS operations, and customer queries while ensuring smooth and accurate checkout operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle billing and checkout operations using the POS system.
• Receive cash, card, UPI, and other approved payment methods.
• Ensure accurate billing and proper handling of cash.
• Provide bills/receipts to customers.
• Handle customer queries and assist with basic concerns at the billing counter.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the billing area.
• Perform cash reconciliation at the end of the shift.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and billing.
• Coordinate with store staff to ensure smooth customer checkout.
• Report any billing, cash, or POS-related issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier, preferably in retail or supermarket.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing software.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Well-groomed, polite, and customer-oriented.

Preferred

• Experience in a supermarket, gourmet store, food retail, or premium retail environment.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay

₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
