Job Description

Mecatredz Softwares and Innovations Private Limited is looking for a qualified and experienced Drone Service Technician Trainer for its DDU-GKY skill development project. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in drone technology, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to students enrolled in the programme.

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering, relevant industry experience, and prior experience in technical training.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver theoretical and practical training in Drone Service Technician courses as per the prescribed curriculum.

Explain drone components, electronic systems, sensors, flight controllers, batteries, and related hardware.

Conduct hands-on practical sessions on drone assembly, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Train students in identifying and resolving common technical faults in drone systems.

Demonstrate the use of electronic testing instruments and diagnostic tools.

Ensure the safe handling, operation, maintenance, and storage of drones and related equipment.

Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments, training materials, and assessment records.

Monitor student attendance, learning progress, and practical performance.

Maintain training documentation and comply with DDU-GKY project guidelines and applicable quality standards.

Support students in developing industry-relevant technical skills and employment readiness.

Required Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications

B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics Engineering

B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

Diploma in Electronics Engineering

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in electronics, drone technology, drone maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, or a related technical field.

Minimum 1 year of training or teaching experience in a relevant technical domain.

Total required experience

Minimum 3 years, including both industry and training experience.

Required Skills

Good technical knowledge of electronics and drone systems.

Practical knowledge of electronic components, circuits, sensors, and troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to conduct classroom teaching and hands-on laboratory sessions.

Strong communication, presentation, and student-management skills.

Ability to maintain training records and conduct student assessments.

Commitment to safety, discipline, and quality training delivery.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in drone servicing, electronics repair, embedded systems, or UAV technology will be preferred.

Experience in ITIs, polytechnic institutes, engineering colleges, technical training centres, or government-sponsored skill development projects will be an added advantage.

Candidates should be comfortable conducting practical demonstrations and laboratory-based training.
