micro1 is looking for Financial Aid Advisors to help evaluate and improve AI systems on federal student loan topics. You’ll use your borrower counseling experience to check that questions sound like real borrowers and that answers are correct and useful. Accuracy comes first. No AI experience is needed; your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

Review sample student loan questions and flag any that don’t sound like what real borrowers ask.

Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on federal loan repayment, including income-driven repayment (IDR) plans and forgiveness programs such as PSLF.

Cover servicer issues, deferment and forbearance, and default management in your rubrics.

Evaluate AI-generated answers against your rubrics, flagging errors, omissions, and outdated guidance.

Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.

Required Qualifications

Direct experience counseling borrowers on federal student loan repayment and forgiveness (nonprofit counselor, university financial aid office, or similar)

1+ years advising on IDR plans, PSLF, or other repayment and relief options

Experience beyond award packaging, such as repayment, forgiveness, servicer issues, or default resolution

Working knowledge of loan servicing, deferment, forbearance, and default

US-based

Able to start quickly and commit 15-25 hours/week

Clear, precise writing
