About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Cashier/Waiter to manage day-to-day café operations at Yo Mama Cafe. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities, including cashier duties, customer service, basic management, and overall café coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle billing, cash, and daily transactions accurately.
• Manage the café’s billing/POS system and understand basic system operations.
• Attend to customers and ensure a good customer experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth daily operations.
• Supervise day-to-day café activities and ensure operations run efficiently.
• Handle opening and closing responsibilities as required.
• Maintain basic records related to sales, cash, stock, and daily operations.
• Coordinate with staff and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Address basic customer queries and operational issues.
• Take responsibility for the café in the absence of senior management.
• Support the team wherever required and handle multiple responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a café, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or similar environment.
• Should be able to understand and communicate in basic english.
• Basic understanding of POS/billing systems and computers.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily operations.
• Should be comfortable handling multiple roles and responsibilities.
• Prior experience as a cashier, waiter, café supervisor, restaurant staff, or manager will be preferred.

Working Hours

9:00 AM – 11:00 PM, with a 2-hour break during the day.
