Housekeeper/Cleaner

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in hospital premises, including OPD, IPD, wards, cabins, washrooms, corridors, and waiting areas.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, beds, furniture, and frequently touched surfaces as per hospital protocols.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of washrooms at regular intervals.
• Follow hospital infection control guidelines and biomedical waste segregation procedures.
• Collect and dispose of waste in designated bins as per hospital policies.
• Replenish cleaning materials, toiletries, and other housekeeping supplies.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from nursing staff, doctors, and the administration.
• Maintain cleanliness in emergency areas and patient care areas as instructed.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and disinfectants safely.
• Report maintenance issues, spills, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping checklists and cleaning records.
• Follow hospital rules, maintain discipline, and ensure patient privacy and safety.
