Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at our rubber moulding manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production team, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth, efficient workflow on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate production activities in the rubber moulding unit to meet daily output targets

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to guide production processes

Manage, motivate, and guide shop floor team members to maintain productivity and discipline

Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Conduct basic quality checks at key stages of production to identify and address defects early

Operate and oversee the use of hand tools and basic production equipment; ensure proper maintenance and safe usage

Track production data, report progress, and escalate issues to management as required

Ensure compliance with workplace safety guidelines and housekeeping standards

Requirements

experience in a rubber moulding or similar manufacturing environment

Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings

Basic knowledge of rubber moulding processes (compression, injection, or transfer moulding preferred)

Hands-on experience with general production tools and equipment

Proven ability to lead and manage a team on the shop floor

Good communication and problem-solving skills

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
