Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Programmer with 1–2 years of experience in software development, programming, debugging, and application maintenance. The candidate will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with the IT team to meet business requirements.

Knowledge of Odoo ERP development and customization will be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using relevant programming languages.

Assist in modifying and enhancing existing applications.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and technical issues.

Work with databases, SQL queries, and data validation.

Participate in software testing, debugging, and application deployment.

Maintain technical documentation and update existing programs.

Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in programming or software development.

Basic knowledge of Visual Basic (VB/VB.NET) and other programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, PHP, or JavaScript.

Basic knowledge of SQL, database management, and writing queries.

Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be an advantage for web application development.

Familiarity with version control tools such as Git is desirable.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in a team.

Preferred Skills – Odoo ERP

Knowledge of Odoo ERP development and customization will be an added advantage.

Basic understanding of Python programming and the Odoo framework.

Familiarity with Odoo modules, models, views, and business workflows.

Basic knowledge of XML and PostgreSQL.

Understanding of Odoo module development, customization, and debugging is preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant technical certifications or practical project experience will be an added advantage.
