Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Technician Foundry

Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of foundry equipment.

Maintain induction furnaces, melting systems, pouring equipment, and furnace cooling systems.

Maintain sand preparation and moulding machines, including sand mixers, conveyors, and moulding lines.

Handle maintenance of shot blasting machines, compressors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, couplings, and material-handling equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults as applicable to the role.

Monitor equipment performance and reduce machine downtime.

Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.

Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment availability.

Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with external service providers.

Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and applicable plant safety standards.

Support continuous improvement activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
