Software Development Engineer-1

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer – 1 to join our engineering team. The role involves developing

and maintaining backend and/or full-stack product features using JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js, building APIs

and integrations, working with databases and asynchronous workflows, debugging production issues, and contributing

to automated testing and engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend and/or full-stack product features using JavaScript / TypeScript and

Node.js.

• Design and implement REST APIs and internal or external system integrations.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for data modelling, querying, validation, and persistence.
• Build user-facing interfaces using JavaScript / TypeScript frameworks where required.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and API tests and contribute to overall code quality.
• Work with asynchronous jobs, queues, webhooks, and third-party integrations where required.
• Investigate defects and production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
• Use logs, metrics, and debugging tools to identify and resolve application failures.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to clarify requirements, edge cases, and implementation

details.

• Use AI-assisted development tools effectively while understanding, reviewing, testing, and taking ownership of

generated code.
