About the Role

3Wheels.AI is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Engineer with knowledge of computer-aided design and hands-on experience with SolidWorks. Freshers with relevant CAD skills and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and CAD design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
• Develop accurate engineering designs based on technical requirements.
• Work with 3D modelling, assemblies, and part design.
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and design specifications.
• Review CAD models for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify and correct design errors or modelling inconsistencies.
• Maintain proper documentation and organize CAD files.
• Collaborate with the team on design-related tasks and project requirements.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks is preferred.
• Understanding of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with dimensions, tolerances, assemblies, and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Freshers with relevant CAD knowledge and practical project experience are encouraged to apply.

Good to Have

• Experience with SolidWorks Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drawing modules.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Understanding of GD\&T and engineering standards.
• Academic projects, internships, or a portfolio demonstrating CAD skills.
