Department

Sales

• Develop and manage relationships with major Modern Trade accounts such as D-

Mart, Reliance, More, Star Bazaar, etc and Regional Chains.

• Develop account-wise sales plans, forecasts and growth strategies.

• Negotiate listing, margins, trade schemes, promotions, visibility and commercial

terms with key accounts.

• Manage product assortment, new product launches, listings and delistings across

accounts.

• Plan and execute consumer promotions, in-store activations, displays and visibility

programs.

• Coordinate with supply chain, distributors, finance, marketing and production teams

to ensure smooth execution.

• Track promotional spends, claims, discounts and account profitability.

• Monitor competitors’ pricing, promotions, new launches and visibility.

• Conduct regular joint business reviews (JBRs) with key accounts.

• Prepare regular MIS and management reports covering sales, achievement, growth,

inventory, schemes and profitability.

Candidate Profile :-

• 8–10 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably with significant Modern

Trade exposure in Gujarat and new market expansion.

• Strong experience in key account management and negotiations.

• Strong relationships with major Modern Trade chains and regional retailers.

• Good understanding of Modern Trade commercials, margins, schemes and

promotional spends.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

• Strong understanding of Modern Trade Commercials like Terms of Trade.

• Willingness to travel for market visits and key-account meetings.
