Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 7-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C#/.NET, Python, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and database technologies. The role requires building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems while collaborating with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.

Develop robust APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API and Python frameworks.

Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.

Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.

Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

Integrate applications with external systems, APIs, and third-party services.

Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and reliability issues.

Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards.

Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD and automated deployments.

Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver business solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

7-8 years of software development experience.

Minimum 2-3 years of Python development experience.

Strong understanding of software design principles and design patterns.

Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native application development on Azure.

Experience with AI/ML integrations using Python.

Knowledge of data engineering and ETL pipelines.

Experience with serverless architectures (Azure Functions/AWS Lambda).

Exposure to Generative AI, OpenAI, or Azure AI Services.

Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring teams.
