Sales Coordinator
Purpose of the Role
To coordinate day-to-day sales operations, from order intake to timely delivery and payment follow-up. The role keeps the field sales team, distributors, retailers, and warehouse aligned so that product reaches customers on time and in good condition.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, record and process orders from salesmen, online portals, distributors and retailers, and coordinate with the warehouse for packing, loading, and timely delivery.
Ensure fresh stock is dispatched under proper cold-chain conditions on a first-expiry-first-out basis, and track near-expiry stock, returns and damages.
Monitor stock availability and report shortages and demand trends to the Operation Manager and Operation In-Charge
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports and maintain customer, outlet and price databases.
Coordinate with the accounts team on invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments and credit limits.
Act as the first point of contact for customer and distributor queries, and record and resolve quality or delivery complaints.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline
1-3 years of sales coordination experience (FMCG or dairy preferred)
Good MS Excel
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
