Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic fresh graduates who want to build a career in backend development. The ideal candidate should have a good foundation in Python, an understanding of backend development fundamentals, and a strong willingness to learn and work with FastAPI.

You will work alongside our development team on real-world products, building APIs, integrating databases, and developing reliable backend services.

This internship offers an opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time position based on performance, technical growth, and overall suitability for the role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.

Work with databases, particularly MongoDB, including data modelling and CRUD operations.

Implement API validation, authentication, and authorization.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Test APIs, debug issues, and troubleshoot backend problems.

Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to deliver product features.

Use Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration.

Required Skills

Strong fundamentals in Python programming.

Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.

Fundamental knowledge of databases and data structures.

Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

Good logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to learn FastAPI and modern backend development practices.

Ability to work collaboratively and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Good to Have

Academic projects or personal projects involving backend development.

Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Basic knowledge of MongoDB or SQL databases.

Understanding of authentication, JWT, and API security fundamentals.

Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python.

Eligibility

Recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Freshers only; prior professional work experience is not required.

Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Edappally, Kochi.

Candidates should be eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and committed to building a career in software development.
