This position is partially remote and requires strong independence, reliability, and clear communication, given the distributed nature of the SSP team and our global stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review and validate incoming SSP contract requests submitted in ServiceNow.
- Confirm request type (NDA, MSA, LA, SOW, Amendment) and ensure all required information is provided.
- Communicate with requesters to obtain and clarify missing details or correct ticket entries prior to drafting.
Review of Standard Contract Types
- Use Verisk‑approved templates and apply appropriate clauses using
o SSP Contract Clause Playbook
o US MSA Playbook
o US Insurance Playbook
- Ensure accurate completion of template fields, supplier details, commercial terms, and risk‑related requirements.
- Incorporate guidance from prior redlines, negotiations, and best practices shared within SSP.
Cross‑Functional Routing & Approvals
- Route non‑standard terms to
o Legal via Legal Front Door (LFD) Smartsheet ticket
o Privacy, Security, Insurance, Compliance, or Procurement teams as needed
- Track review timelines and follow up with internal teams to ensure progression of contract workflows.
- Record all communications and actions in ServiceNow.
Supplier Communication & Negotiation Support
- Send drafts and redlines to suppliers while maintaining professionalism and consistency with Verisk standards.
- Support negotiations by identifying non‑standard terms and escalating them appropriately.
- Facilitate alignment between supplier feedback and internal stakeholder expectations.
Signature & Execution
- Prepare final documents for signature through DocuSign or Icertis.
- Confirm all required internal approvals have been obtained prior to sending for signature.
- Ensure executed agreements are properly stored in the Icertis repository and attached to ServiceNow tickets.
Ticket Closure & Documentation
- Update ServiceNow with detailed notes, final documents, and confirmation of completion.
- Close tickets only after verifying that the executed contract is stored and all steps have been followed.
- Maintain a complete audit trail according to SSP process standards.
Cross‑Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with SSP leadership, Contract Specialists, Category Managers, and requesters across Verisk business units.
- Participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions, calibration meetings, and process improvement discussions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, Procurement, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- 5–10 years of experience in enterprise contract administration, including MSAs, Agreements for Services (AFS), License Agreements, Data, Cloud and AI Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Order Forms (OFs), and RFPs
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of contract terminology, workflow sequencing, and end to end contract review processes in both English and German is a must.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience operating in a global, cross functional environment
- Ability to work independently at a remote capacity, with availability between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. US EST.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage contracts through execution, escalate legal or risk issues appropriately, and maintain accurate documentation in contract management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle, Icertis, DocuSign, ServiceNow, or similar contract systems.
- Prior experience applying contract playbooks or negotiating standard agreements.
- Comfort supporting stakeholder meetings and supplier discussions.
