Government Tenders Executive (B2G Sales)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a result-driven GeM Portal \& Government Tenders Executive to spearhead our Government-to-Business (B2G) sales vertical at Evian Furniture. The ideal candidate will be entirely responsible for end-to-end tender management—from monitoring and bidding on the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal to personally attending department meetings, building relationships with government procurement officers, securing premium furniture contracts, and driving company revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• GeM Portal Management \& Tender Bidding
• Regularly track, search, and identify relevant government tenders, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and direct purchase orders for office furniture, seating systems, and institutional setups on the GeM Portal and other e-tendering platforms.
• Prepare, organize, and upload error-free technical and financial bid documents, ensuring strict compliance with eligibility criteria, earnest money deposits (EMD), and specific tender guidelines.
• Direct Government Liaisoning \& Face-to-Face Meetings
• Travel directly to municipal corporations, public sector undertakings (PSUs), banks, railways, and educational institutions whenever required for pre-bid meetings or technical presentations.
• Represent Evian Furniture professionally in front of senior purchase committees and government officials to pitch our manufacturing capabilities and high-quality product portfolio.
• Potential Client Conversion \& Revenue Generation
• Proactively follow up on submitted bids and negotiate contract terms to legally secure active government orders.
• Identify high-potential government departments looking to upgrade their office infrastructures and establish Evian Furniture as their primary registered vendor.
• Post-Bid Operations \& Coordination
• Coordinate efficiently with our internal manufacturing, finance, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of custom orders post-tender allocation.
• Follow up with departments to ensure prompt invoice processing and smooth payment clearances.

Required Qualifications \& Competencies

• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience handling GeM Portal registration, product cataloging, direct purchase orders, and online bidding workflows, specifically for physical products (experience in furniture, interior fit-outs, or consumer goods is a major advantage).
• Government Sales Track Record: Proven ability to interface confidently with government officers, navigate procurement workflows, and systematically meet revenue targets.
• Communication \& Presentation: Fluent in professional English and Hindi/Gujarati for clear documentation and persuasive in-person representations.
• Attention to Detail: Absolute precision in analyzing tender documents to prevent technical disqualification.

₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
