Key Responsibilities

• Research Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax and Inventory requirements for new features.
• Analyse Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, Marg and other accounting software.
• Suggest product improvements based on practical accounting requirements.
• Perform functional QA and software testing of accounting, GST, taxation, inventory and reporting features.
• Verify accounting entries, calculations, reports and tax/compliance logic.
• Identify functional gaps, edge cases and incorrect accounting treatments.
• Work with Product, Development and QA teams on accounting and taxation requirements.
• Track relevant changes in GST, TDS and Income Tax regulations.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Strong practical knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Taxation and Inventory.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Busy or Marg.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to test software from an accountant/business-user perspective.
• Interest in SaaS, technology and product development.
