Job Summary

Nevisun Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced API Purchase / Procurement Executive with 1–4 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in API procurement and vendor sourcing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API supplier identification, quotation/RFQ management, price negotiation, purchase orders, vendor coordination, and procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end API purchase and procurement activities.
• Source and identify reliable API manufacturers and suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations, including price, MOQ, lead time and payment terms.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding price, commercial terms, delivery schedules and availability.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of APIs.
• Maintain and update the API supplier/vendor database.
• Coordinate with QA/QC/Regulatory and other internal teams for required API documentation.
• Follow up for documents such as COA, GMP certificates, MSDS and other required quality documents.
• Monitor purchase orders, pending requirements and delivery status.
• Evaluate and maintain supplier relationships.
• Support procurement activities while ensuring compliance with company quality and documentation requirements.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical API Purchase / Procurement.
• Experience in API sourcing and vendor management is mandatory/preferred.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical APIs and procurement processes.
• Experience in RFQ, quotation comparison, price negotiation, MOQ and lead-time management.
• Good vendor communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement documentation and quality requirements.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Candidates from a pharmaceutical procurement/purchase background will be preferred.
