Senior Accountant

Location

Bhootnath, Indra Nagar, Lucknow.

A Senior Accountant manages core financial operations, oversees closing cycles, ensures regulatory compliance, and guides junior accounting staff.

Core Responsibilities:-

• Financial Reporting \& General Ledger
• Prepare, examine, and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations (bank, credit card, and vendor accounts), and adjusting journal entries.
• Closing Cycles
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial cutoffs.
• Audits \& Compliance
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by preparing work papers, documentation, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), along with local and federal tax laws.
• Budgeting, Forecasting \& Analysis
• Assist management with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and expenditure monitoring.
• Review financial data to spot trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational inefficiencies.
• Leadership \& Team Support
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants, bookkeepers, and junior finance personnel.
• Review the work of team members and act as a bridge between frontline staff and executive management.
• Process Improvement
• Evaluate current accounting systems, workflows, and software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to recommend and implement better internal controls

Pay

₹30,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
