About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Assistant Accountant to support our finance and accounts department. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and financial documents.
• Record daily financial transactions and bookkeeping entries.
• Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Prepare GST data and assist in tax-related documentation.
• Maintain vendor and client payment records.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and other departments when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Data entry and record management skills.
