About this job
Read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, marking, fitting and alignment of metal components.
Assemble MS/SS structures, plates, pipes and other fabricated components as per drawings.
Use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, vernier caliper and spirit level.
Work with welders to ensure proper fit-up and dimensional accuracy before welding.
Inspect fabricated components and maintain quality standards.
Follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
Maintain tools, equipment and workplace cleanliness.
