RESTAURANT CAPTAIN

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to oversee daily restaurant service operations, lead the service team, and ensure an excellent dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate must have mandatory prior experience in a restaurant environment, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high standards of food and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Lead, guide, and monitor restaurant service staff, including waiters and stewards.

Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Take and coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Ensure the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and presentation.

Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and smooth service.

Monitor table arrangements, restaurant setup, and service readiness.

Ensure compliance with company standards, service procedures, and food safety guidelines.

Support upselling initiatives and promote menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Assist in staff training, duty allocation, and maintaining discipline within the team.

Monitor guest satisfaction and take corrective action whenever required.

Eligibility Criteria

Previous experience working in a restaurant is mandatory.

Experience as a Restaurant Captain, Senior Steward, Team Leader, or a similar restaurant service role is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong guest-handling and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.

Knowledge of restaurant service standards, table setup, and food and beverage service procedures.

Professional grooming, a positive attitude, and a guest-oriented approach.
