Front End Developer- VueJS

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead modernization of a large-scale browser-based digital twin and inspection platform supporting industrial assets and operational workflows. The immediate priority for this role is planning and executing the migration of the production application from Vue 2 to Vue 3 while preserving critical business workflows and minimizing user disruption. The successful candidate will modernize frontend architecture, dependencies, state management, component patterns, and development practices while establishing a scalable and supportable foundation for future growth. The platform combines 2D site visualization, interactive 3D model viewing, inspection and condition data, media management, work requests, and operational information. This is a hands-on senior engineering position focused on frontend modernization, architectural ownership, application performance, and long-term platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead modernization of the production application from Vue 2 to Vue 3

Define target-state frontend architecture, standards, and development practices.

Assess and remediate outdated frontend dependencies, libraries, and technical debt.

Develop and execute migration strategies that minimize disruption to production users and workflows.

Collaborate with backend engineers, QA engineers, product stakeholders, and domain specialists.

Required

Strong professional Vue.js experience and proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience planning and executing major frontend framework modernization efforts.

Experience modernizing mature, data-intensive single-page applications.

Hands-on experience developing or integrating interactive 3D visualization, CAD/model viewing, digital twin, WebGL-based, or comparable browser-based visualization technologies.

Strong API integration, asynchronous behavior, state-management, debugging, performance, and enterprise authentication experience.

Nice to Have

Experience migrating Vue 2 applications to Vue 3.

Experience modernizing legacy frontend architectures and dependency ecosystems.

Experience with modern Vue ecosystem libraries, state management, real-time communications, and enterprise authentication platforms.

Experience with industrial, engineering, inspection, asset-integrity, maintenance, or digital-twin applications.
