Assistant Manager / Sr. Engineer - Purchase

Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.

• Sourcing and engaging reliable \& profitable suppliers and vendors.

• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.

• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.

• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.

• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.

• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements. Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.

• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.

• Preparing procurement reports and give actual picture to the management.

• Coordinate with other departments for smooth functioning \& execution of the projects.

Candidate must having working experience in Mechanical \& Electrical Industry

Must having knowledge about Pipes \& Fittings, Valves, Pumps, Cables, Motors, Panels \& Civil.

Preferably from Water \& Waste Water Industry
