Service Engineer – Diesel Generator Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month Experience: Minimum 6 Months Required Employment Type: Full-Time Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Diesel Generators (DG Sets). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in generator maintenance and a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and electrical components. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, commissioning, and servicing of Diesel Generators. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in DG sets. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Inspect equipment and ensure optimal performance of generators. Maintain service records and prepare technical reports. Attend customer service calls and provide timely support. Coordinate with customers regarding maintenance schedules and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Support spare parts identification and replacement activities. RequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in servicing Diesel Generators or related equipment. ITI, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification preferred. Basic knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, electrical systems, and control panels. Ability to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel for field service assignments when required.
