Construction Storekeeper

Kushwaha Homes Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Construction Store Keeper / Project Store In-Charge to manage construction materials, inventory, tools, and store operations at our project sites. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in construction material management, stock control, documentation, and coordination with site engineers, purchase teams, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and return of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and approved specifications.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, material inward/outward records, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material requisition slips, and issue vouchers.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchase and site teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Maintain records of construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregate, bricks, plumbing and electrical supplies, hardware, and finishing materials.
• Issue materials only against authorized requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile actual stock with recorded inventory.
• Track material consumption, shortages, damaged goods, excess stock, and wastage; report discrepancies to management.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage, preservation, and security of materials to prevent damage, loss, and theft.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, vendors, purchase, and accounts teams.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the project store.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction site stores or project store management.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and civil construction site operations.
• Excellent understanding of inventory management, stock reconciliation, material consumption, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and computer-based stock management.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare inventory reports.
• Good coordination, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Honest, disciplined, responsible, and capable of independently managing store operations.

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
