Trainee – Email Development

About the position

We are looking for a Trainee – Email Development to join our team and build engaging and responsive email campaigns for customers and prospects. The role involves coding using HTML \& CSS.

This is an opportunity for candidates keen to build their skills in email development, build and work on live campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Develop and code email campaigns using HTML \& CSS.
• Build responsive email templates based on the specifications provided in formats such as PSD or Sketch.
• Work with email marketing platforms to build, test and execute campaigns.
• Collaborate with multiple project teams to deliver campaigns within the defined timelines.
• Review and test emails to ensure quality, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility across devices.
• Take ownership of the email campaigns and ensure they are delivered with the top-level of quality and accuracy.

Job Specifications \& Qualifications

• Good understanding of HTML \& CSS.
• Basic understanding of how emails are coded in HTML.
• Basic understanding of responsive email development.
• Good understanding of conditional logics, in any programming language.
• Internship or project experience involving HTML and CSS development / email development is desirable.
• Certification in email development is a plus.
• Familiarity with email marketing best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
