Job Vacancy – Warehouse & Workshop Operations Supervisor Company: Honesty Machine Tools Location: Khopoli, Maharashtra Department: Warehouse & Workshop Operations Experience: 3–5 years preferred Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Based on experience and technical knowledge Job Description Honesty Machine Tools is looking for a responsible and organized Warehouse & Workshop Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations at our industrial machinery warehouse and workshop in Khopoli. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery records, supervising workers, coordinating refurbishment and modification activities, and ensuring smooth material movement and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Machinery Inventory & Record Management Maintain complete records of all incoming and outgoing machinery. Record machinery make, model, capacity, dimensions, specifications, condition and identification numbers. Maintain updated stock registers with photographs and storage locations. Track machinery under inspection, refurbishment, modification and ready-for-dispatch status. Maintain records of spare parts, tools and workshop materials. 2. Warehouse Operations Supervise loading, unloading and movement of heavy industrial machinery. Ensure machinery is properly identified, labelled and stored. Coordinate transportation, dispatches and material receipts. Verify machinery dimensions and specifications before dispatch. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety. 3. Workshop Supervision Allocate daily work to technicians, welders, fitters and helpers. Supervise gearbox and motor refurbishment activities. Coordinate EOT crane alterations, modifications and repair activities as instructed by management. Monitor work progress, quality and completion deadlines. Arrange required tools, spare parts and materials for ongoing jobs. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily inward/outward machinery reports. Prepare job cards and track work progress. Maintain worker attendance and daily work allocation records. Update stock and machinery status in Excel or Google Sheets. Provide daily operational updates to management. 5. Customer & Vendor Coordination Assist management during customer warehouse visits. Show available machinery and explain recorded specifications. Coordinate with transporters, suppliers and outside workshops. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in industrial warehouses, machinery workshops, fabrication units or engineering industries. Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, gearboxes, motors and EOT cranes preferred. Ability to take accurate machinery measurements using measuring tape, vernier calipers and other basic instruments. Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and basic computer operations. Ability to supervise workers and manage multiple ongoing jobs. Strong record-keeping, communication and organizational skills. Practical, responsible and capable of independently handling day-to-day warehouse operations. Preferred Candidate A hands-on supervisor who is comfortable working around heavy industrial machinery, can maintain accurate records, coordinate workshop workers and ensure all machinery movements are properly documented.
