Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding) Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join our logistics team. You will manage the end-to-end execution of international cargo movements (Air and Sea freight). This role bridges the gap between our clients, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and overseas agents to ensure. seamless, compliant, and timely delivery of shipments. Core Responsibilities Focus Area Key Duties & Responsibilities Shipment Execution• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations for air/sea import and export consignments.• Secure cargo space and optimal pricing by coordinating with airlines and shipping lines.• Track end-to-end shipment statuses from origin to final warehouse destination. Documentation & Compliance• Verify and process critical logistics documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).• Ensure 100% compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and tariff classifications.• File EDI transmissions and check shipment statuses via portals like ICEGATE. Stakeholder Coordination• Liaise daily with overseas agents, internal sales administration, and local transporters.• Coordinate with Custom House Agents (CHA) for swift customs clearance.• Issue Delivery Orders (DO) and handle airline/carrier bookings. Financial & Reporting• Audit freight invoices, detention fees, accessorial charges, and multi-level billing operations.• Maintain error-free data logs and generate weekly/monthly operational Management Information System (MIS) reports.
