Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Ayushman Bharat Billing Executive to manage patient billing, scheme-related documentation, pre-authorisation, claim processing, and coordination with the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Handle Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) patient registration and billing.
Verify patient eligibility and Ayushman Bharat card details.
Check patient documents and ensure completeness of medical records.
Process pre-authorisation requests and treatment approvals as per scheme guidelines.
Prepare and submit claims through the designated portal.
Coordinate with doctors, the MRD department, TPA, and the Ayushman Bharat helpdesk.
Monitor claim status, rejections, queries, and pending payments.
Ensure accurate billing and compliance with scheme packages and hospital policies.
Maintain proper records of patient documents, approvals, bills, and claim submissions.
Follow up on claim queries and discrepancies to ensure timely settlement.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Graduate in any stream; candidates with healthcare billing or TPA-related qualifications will be preferred.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Ayushman Bharat billing or hospital government scheme billing preferred.
Knowledge of PM-JAY guidelines, package rates, pre-authorisation, and claim submission.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hospital billing software and online portals.
