Spare Parts Executive

Responsible for managing the complete spare parts operations of the automobile service centre, including parts procurement, inventory control, issue of parts to technicians, stock monitoring, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of parts for vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day spare parts inventory and operations.

• Identify and procure required parts based on job cards and service requirements.

• Issue spare parts to technicians as per approved job cards.

• Maintain accurate records of parts receipts, issues, returns and stock transfers.

• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requirements.

• Coordinate with parts suppliers, vendors and OEM/dealer networks.

• Follow up on pending and back-ordered parts.

• Ensure proper storage, identification and arrangement of spare parts.

• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete parts.

• Ensure warranty-related parts are properly handled and documented.

• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Workshop Manager and Accounts team.

• Ensure timely availability of parts to avoid delays in vehicle delivery.

• Maintain proper documentation and comply with company/OEM procedures.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly parts stock and consumption reports.

• Handle customer/vehicle-related parts queries when required.

Additional Responsibilities – Assistant Manager

• Supervise and guide Parts Executives, Parts Assistants and store personnel.

• Monitor team performance and allocate daily responsibilities.

• Control inventory carrying costs and reduce unnecessary stock.

• Analyse parts consumption and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

• Support management in achieving parts sales and inventory targets.

• Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, audit requirements and safety standards.

Skills \& Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Automobile / Mechanical / Supply Chain / Business Administration preferred.

• 2–5 years of experience in automobile spare parts/service operations.

• Knowledge of automobile spare parts and vehicle components.

• Experience in DMS/ERP systems and MS Excel.

• Good inventory management and analytical skills.

• Good communication and vendor coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet service timelines.

• For Assistant Manager: Previous experience in team handling and parts management is preferred.

Pay

₹23,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
