Jr. Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Accountant to join our dynamic stockbroking firm. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, including precise journal entries, efficient invoice generation, and compliant TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) processing. You will also play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flows by drafting professional payment follow-up emails and communicating with clients and vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for a foundational accounting professional to grow within the financial services sector.Key Responsibilities

• Financial Bookkeeping: Prepare and record accurate daily journal entries for broking transactions, expenses, and revenues.
• Billing \& Invoicing: Generate and dispatch accurate client invoices, ensuring alignment with brokerage rates and regulatory standards.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in computing, deducting, and filing TDS returns in compliance with current tax laws.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor outstanding balances and draft structured, professional email follow-ups to ensure timely payments.
• Reconciliation: Support the senior accounting team in reconciling bank statements, client ledgers, and exchange settlements.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with TDS slabs, deductions, and e-filing processes.
• Excellent written communication skills for professional email drafting and client correspondence.

Pay

₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
