Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Accounts, Audit \& Subsidy Risk with strong expertise in accounting finalization, taxation, financial scrutiny and compliance. The candidate should be capable of independently reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies and preparing accurate reconciliation reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Finalization of accounts, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation and financial statement review.
• Review of GST, Income Tax, TDS, tax audit and statutory compliance.
• Verification of Fixed Assets, Plant \& Machinery, CWIP, depreciation and capitalization.
• Financial scrutiny of invoices, payments, investments and supporting documents for government subsidy claims.
• Identify accounting errors, duplicate entries, discrepancies and ineligible expenses.
• Prepare reconciliation statements, exception reports and financial analysis.
• Use Tally Prime, Advanced Excel and AI tools for efficient accounting and reporting.

Required Skills

• Accounting: Finalization, Balance Sheet, P\&L, Trial Balance, Reconciliation.
• Taxation: GST, Income Tax, TDS, Tax Audit, GSTR-9/9C.
• Software: Tally Prime, Advanced MS Excel, MS Office.
• Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, Power Query.
• AI Tools: ChatGPT and AI-assisted data analysis and reporting.
• Financial Scrutiny: Fixed Assets, CWIP, Capital Expenditure, Invoice Verification.
• Soft Skills: Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Communication and Reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, accounting, taxation or audit.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and accounting finalization.
• Ability to independently handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Experience in government subsidy-related financial scrutiny is an added advantage.
• Experienced non-CA professionals are preferred.
