Job Description

Doctor Seeds Pvt. Ltd. invites applications from sales-oriented professionals to strengthen our seed business, expand distribution networks, and develop market opportunities across Maharashtra.

Qualification

• B.Sc. Agriculture
• M.Sc. Agriculture
• MBA in Agri-Business Management will be preferred.

Experience

2–3 years of experience preferred, particularly in the seed industry, agricultural inputs, or allied agri-business sectors.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with dealers and distributors.
• Confidence in sales negotiations, persuasion, and business development.
• Practical understanding of agriculture and regional cropping systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and digital/business tools.
• Ability to assess market demand and implement effective sales strategies.
• Strong follow-up, payment collection, and field execution skills.

Candidates with local market experience will be preferred, especially those familiar with dealer networks, crop cycles, farmer preferences, and competitive market conditions in the respective locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on sales orders.
• Develop and maintain dealer/distributor relationships.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Conduct regular field visits and monitor market activity.
• Gather competitor information, demand trends, and farmer/dealer feedback.
• Develop markets and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and fulfilment.
