About this job

Key Responsibilities Keyboard-First Interface Design: Design voucher-entry screens and workflows optimized for ultra-fast keyboard navigation (visible focus rings, shortcut contracts, "Tally mode" muscle memory). Data-Dense & Calm UI: Craft clean, high-density layouts for ledgers, trial balances, GST workbenches, bank-reconciliation match queues, and AI-assisted document inboxes. Scalable Design System: Maintain and extend a unified component library (supporting 16 voucher types and 50+ screens generated from field manifests). Agentic AI Moments: Solve trust and usability in AI workflows—designing clear visual feedback for automated actions, field confidence marks, approval states, and undo mechanisms. Analytics & Dashboards: Create actionable financial dashboards and charts (cash position, ageing, GST liability, margins) with drill-down functionality to individual vouchers. Cross-Platform Responsive Design: Design seamless experiences across MacBook, Windows, tablets, and mobile (desktop in full; mobile optimized for quick approvals, receipt capture, and status checks). Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 2+ years designing B2B software/workplace tools, with at least one live product in production. Systems Thinking: Strong command over design tokens, component architecture, and interaction states in Figma. Complex UI Expertise: Experience designing data-dense, numeric, or workflow-heavy interfaces (Fintech, ERP, or SaaS experience is a strong plus). Prototyping & Code (Plus): HTML/CSS/React prototyping skills or experience with data-grids/keyboard-driven interfaces are highly valued. Communication: Ability to clearly explain design decisions to both software engineers and domain experts (Chartered Accountants).
