Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting operations, billing processes, and inventory control. In addition to core accounting tasks, the ideal candidate will be responsible for handling our IndiaMART vendor/buyer inquiries, lead management, and online catalogue updates. Key Responsibilities & Duties Billing & Invoicing: Generate accurate B2B and B2C invoices, tax invoices, debit notes, and credit notes. Ensure proper GST compliance, HSN codes, and accurate tax calculations on all billings. Reconcile daily sales and follow up with clients for timely collections and payment tracking. Inventory Management: Maintain and update stock records regularly in accounting software or ERP systems. Perform periodic physical inventory audits to reconcile stock with system records. Coordinate with the warehouse/dispatch team to track inward and outward stock movements. IndiaMART & E-Commerce Portal Handling: Manage the company’s IndiaMART account daily, including responding to incoming buyer leads and inquiries promptly. Upload new products, update pricing, descriptions, and catalogues on IndiaMART. Track lead conversions, follow up with prospective clients, and generate business reports from the portal. General Accounting & Compliance: Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Ledgers, Cash/Bank Book, Journal Entries). Assist in GST filings, TDS returns, and preparation of financial statements. Coordinate with internal/external auditors as required. Candidate Requirements
