Plumbing and Fire Fighting Engineer and Supervisor

Job Summmary :- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of plumbing system and fire-fighting, system in residential , commercial, and industrial building, ensure all work is completed according to approved drawings, project specification, safety requirements, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- A. Plumbing work

. Installl and maintain water supply, drainage, and saintary piping systems.

. Install water pumps, valves, plumbing fixtures, and bathroom accessories.

. Read and interpret plumbing layouts, shop drawings, and specifications.

. Perform Pipe Cutting, threading, joining, and fitting.

. Conduct hydrostatic pressure tests and leakage inspections.

. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and HVAC teams to Avoid service clashes.

. Identify and rectify plumbing defects and breakdowns.

B- Fire Fighting Works

. Install fire-fighting piping, valves, fittings, and supports.

. Install and connect fire hydrant, sprinkler, hose reel, and landing valve system as per approved designs.

. Assist in installing fire pumps, jockey pumps, and associated equipment.

. Carry out pressure testing, flushing, and inspection of fire-fighting pipelines.

. Verify pipe routing, equipment locations, and installation Against approved drawings.

. Support testing and commissioning of fire-fighting systems.

. Follow Applicable fire safety codes, Project specifications, and local authority requirements.

C. Safety and Quality

. Follow site Safety Procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective aquipment (PPE).

. Ensure Materials and workmanship meet approved quality standards.

. Maintain Inspection checklists, testing records , and daily progress reports.

. Report installation defects, material Shortages, and site Issues to the supervisor or project engineer.

Qualification and Experience

-

. ITI / Dipoloma in Piumbing, Mechanical.or a Related trade is Preferred.

. Experience in Plumbing and fire-fighting installation works.

. Knowledge of piping Materials, valves, fitting, and technical methods.

. Knowledge of fire- fighting standards ans site safety procedures.

. Experience in building construction, commercial projects, or MEP Works is an Advantage.
