We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Analyst (MBS-IC-02\) – Australian Accounts \& Taxation.

Independent Analyst. Focuses on analytical thinking and problem-solving. Distinguished from L1 by working with minimal review and resolving standard exceptions unassisted.

The ideal candidate brings strong Accounting Knowledge \& Application, Australian Accounts \& Taxation Knowledge, and Execution \& Accountability skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

The goal is to strengthen VNC Global's Accounting Review \& Financial Control, Australian Tax \& Compliance, and Client Service \& Operational Delivery capability, helping clients and internal stakeholders achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes.Key Roles \& Responsibilities

  • --------------------------------
  • Perform accounting activities independently while reviewing financial information, analysing variances, completing reconciliations, supporting reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Deliver accounting services by coordinating with clients and internal teams, ensuring timely completion of work, resolving operational issues, and contributing to consistent service quality.
  • Apply accounting principles and client-specific procedures accurately while performing assigned work.
  • Complete assigned work within agreed timelines while maintaining quality.
  • Assist in preparation and review of Australian BAS, GST, and related compliance activities.

  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting activities for Australian clients.
  • Review financial information to identify unusual transactions, variances, missing information, or discrepancies and coordinate with clients for clarification.
  • Coordinate with clients for required invoices, receipts, bank statements, payroll information, tax documents, and other supporting records.
  • Escalate exceptions or ambiguous cases to the reporting manager for guidance rather than making unreviewed judgement calls.
