Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper with strong knowledge of tools and marine engineering materials. The candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, inventory control, and procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials for projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Storekeeping Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store marine engineering materials, tools, spares, and consumables
• Maintain accurate inventory records and system entries
• Ensure correct identification, labeling, and safe storage of materials
• Conduct regular stock verification and report discrepancies
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in store areas

Requirements \& Qualifications

• Minimum 1-4 years of experience as Storekeeper, preferably in marine, shipyard, or engineering industries
• Good knowledge of marine engineering materials, tools, fittings, pipes, valves, fasteners, and spares
• Experience in inventory control
• Knowledge in MS Excel and basic inventory / ERP systems
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
• Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
