Manager Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Projects (Civil) to lead our project team in delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent project management skills, and experience in BOQ preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• BOQ Preparation: Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Tendering and Contract Management: Assist in the tendering process, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.

• Site Management: Monitor and control site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental regulations.

• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of project engineers, coordinators, and other support staff.

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, and that defects are identified and rectified promptly.

• Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification*: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.

• Experience: 7 years and above experience in similar field

• Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
