Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and well-organized Logistics Officer to manage the day-to-day logistics operations, coordinate the movement of materials and finished products, and ensure timely delivery of goods. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, transporters, internal departments, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Arrange vehicles and transport facilities for the timely dispatch of materials and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, transport documents, and other logistics records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, warehouse staff, and internal departments regarding material movement.
• Track shipments and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities to reduce logistics expenses.
• Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Coordinate with the purchase, production, stores, and accounts departments for smooth operations.
• Handle logistics-related issues, delivery delays, and transportation discrepancies.
• Ensure proper packing, loading, unloading, and safe transportation of materials.
• Verify transport bills and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.
• Prepare daily and periodic reports on dispatches, deliveries, and transportation expenses.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatch operations is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of transportation, dispatch, and logistics documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and email.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and transporters.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Pay

Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
