Home Automation Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Home Automation Technician with 1 year+ of experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining smart home automation systems. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field and hands on experience with home automation and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot home automation systems.
• Install and commission lighting and electrical automation systems.
• Install and integrate motorized curtains and blinds automation.
• Install and configure Wi-Fi and network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, and structured cabling.
• Install and configure CCTV surveillance systems, including camera mounting, DVR/NVR setup, and network integration.
• Install and configure sensor and alert automation systems such as motion, smoke, gas leak, water leak, and security sensors.
• Test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems.
• Install, terminate, label, and test CAT6/CAT6A, Ethernet, and other low-voltage cabling.
• Perform conduit, trunking, cable pulling, cable dressing, and cable management.
• Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and network layouts.
• Provide on-site customer support and user training after installation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, ECE, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home automation, ELV systems, CCTV, networking, or electrical installations.
• Hands on experience with cable pulling, cable termination , structured cabling, conduit work, and cable testing.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and networking.
• Ability to use installation tools and testing equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
