Key Responsibilities

• Teach Accountancy to students of Classes 11 and 12 as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons covering accounting principles, journal entries, ledger accounts, trial balance, financial statements, partnership accounts, company accounts, and other relevant topics.
• Explain complex accounting concepts in a simple, practical, and student-friendly manner.
• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, worksheets, and practice questions.
• Conduct regular tests, assessments, and doubt-clearing sessions to evaluate students’ understanding.
• Provide additional support to students preparing for CBSE Board Examinations.
• Develop students’ numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to parents and academic coordinators.
• Identify students’ learning gaps and provide individual guidance and remedial classes as needed.
• Participate in academic meetings and contribute to improving teaching quality and student performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or a relevant teaching qualification is preferred but not mandatory for experienced tutors.
• Prior experience teaching Accountancy to Classes 11 and 12 under the CBSE curriculum is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE Class 11 and 12 Accountancy syllabus.
• Excellent subject knowledge, communication skills, and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly using practical examples.
• Strong expertise in numerical problem-solving and board examination preparation.
• Familiarity with CBSE examination patterns, marking schemes, and question paper formats.
• Patient, approachable, and student-focused teaching approach.
• Ability to motivate students and improve their academic performance.
