CNC Turning Operator

• Operate CNC turning machines as per production requirements.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
• Carry out basic machine setting, tool offset correction, and tool changes.
• Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
• Ensure components are produced as per drawing and quality requirements.
• Maintain required production quantity and cycle time.
• Report machine breakdowns, tool wear, quality issues, and other abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company quality procedures.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in CNC turning machine operation is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and basic inspection methods.
• Basic understanding of cutting tools, tool wear, speeds, and feeds.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Knowledge of GD\&T

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in CNC turning operations preferred. Fresh ITI candidates with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay

₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
